We are proud to announce the launching of our “Kans From Kids” program. This program will allow our Kids (you) and your parents an opportunity to round up canned goods from your neighbors and bring them to your local food bank.

It is so important in life to be grateful for all we have. Even when some things are not going the way we would like them to or the way we think they should go, we need to be able to take a step back and realize how lucky we truly are. We have a roof over our head and food to eat! Unfortunately some people do not.

By your efforts, you will help feed those less fortunate (and many are kids like you). The process is easy;

1. Contact the camp office at 1-888-220-4773 and tell us you want to help feed people.
2. We will send you your “Kans From Kids” starter kit (which will include a letter for you to sign and put in your neighbors’ mailboxes, driving directions to your closest food bank, an affidavit for you to sign stating how many cans you raised and a “Kans From Kids” t-shirt which you will proudly earn).
3. Sign and distribute letters in your neighbors’ mailboxes on Wednesday or Thursday.
4. Pick up Kans Saturday morning starting at 10:00 a.m.
5. Drive to the local food bank, count cans, fill out your affidavit and mail it to the camp office in the envelope provided.
6. Realize that your parent(s) and you just worked together to do a great thing to help those who truly need it and feel the satisfaction you deserve by helping others.
7. Within a week you will receive your signed “Kans From Kids” Certificate of Accomplishment (suitable for framing).
